New Bat Rules for Little League Baseball Divisions

Danielle Thoma

Effective January 1, 2018, non-wood and laminated baseball bats used in the Little League Baseball divisions, shall bear the USA Baseball logo signifying that the bat meets the USABat - USA Baseball's Youth Bat Performance Standard. All BPF 1.15 bats will be prohibited beginning with the 2018 season. Additionally, starting in 2018, the bat diameter shall not exceed 2-5/8 inches for these divisions of play. To help with the change, USA Baseball has launched a new website (USABat.com) that provides a detailed list of approved bats under the new standard, as well as some additional FAQs. Any additional questions regarding the USABat Standard can be sent to USABat@USABaseball.com.

Bat Trade-in Promotion
Due to the new bat rules, we wanted to help all of our customers to continue to enjoy more sports and outdoors and are running a Bat Trade-In promotion to help on the cost of a new bat for this season. The promotion runs January 3 - March 31st and all customers who trade in an old bad can receive 20% OFF a new bat. The offer
cannot be stacked on top of the Shop Day discount but your families can start purchasing bats now and then also come to the Shop Day to get an additional discount of any other gear they need for the season.
